Now, if someone robs property from me, they do not put them in jail even if one has a video showing the theft.
No problem for me in Texas if I am at home.

Maybe the Police that were laid off should join the Occupy Wall Street movement since other employed Police Men are throwing the demonstrators in jail (at least till they get laid off from lack of funds).
Edit: personal story. To me the police are useless anyhows. Back in the 90's when I lived in Elpaso TX. I went to Sturgis South Dakota for a motorcycle run. I had a tricked out 67 Ford F100 parked in my driveway at home. I pulled the distributor on that truck because stolen Ford Trucks was a hot item in ElPaso back then. The thieves hooked it up to a tow truck because when the theft was reported. The cops said they saw it on the road behind a tow truck. It was found burnt and stripped in a colonia.
I have had 2 4 wheel vehicles stolen and never made fully recoverable in El Paso because of it's location near Mexico. I still live in spitting distance near Mexico. So imagine what can happen if I catch anyone trying to rip off one of my scooters. Call the police?
