If like me, you normally use more then one computer at a time
for example windoze and Puppy, then it very quickly becomes difficult
to monitor things like various email accounts, new replies on this and other forums all
whilst trying to do other things.
So I wrote a little script to monitor activity on this forum automatically and alert me by
means of an aural message, the now famous 2barks.wav
Now I can continue doing other things and my Puppy PC will "bark" at me when a new post or
thread appears here.
No doubt more experienced and knowledgeable users will be able to expand or improve on it.
(I hope all the backticks appear here on bbPress)
